I'll use this as a review of the series. Interesting story but overall the ending of each book feels like the author is trying to shock you over and over again. Plot twist after plot twist that sometimes just leave you confused and dizzy.

The books have a strong division between the first two and the last two. To the point it feels like a duology.

I feel it would have been better to simplify the story (specially with the ending of the saga) and stablishing the finale earlier on with better clues to solve the mistery as you read. Also it felt like there was too much happening and nothing at the same time.

In the positives I do think the story is very unique and has a lot of charm. Loved a lot of the characters. I would recommend other people to read it as I found the writing and translation to be interesting enough to keep me going despite my dislike for some the choices.

(Last note as someone who does not care much for motherhood the weird started but never fully developed theme of motherhood in this series is a rather strange choice and Ophelia's infertility is treated clumsily at best)
