I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer
by Michelle McNamara
I am indeed a true crime junkie. I love the podcasts, I love the shows (snapped fans wya??) but this was my first true crime book I’ve ever read! I’m hooked. I listened to the audio and read along with this book and it was phenomenal. The way Michelle wrote this book and how well researched it was is incredible! The narration was great and really had me so interested the entire time. The Golden State Killer is a case that fascinates me and after listening to a lot of My Favorite Murder (they talk about this book a lot) and listening to Man in the Window (another AMAZING podcast about GSK) I finally was able to get my hands on this book and read it. This book unexpectedly made me cry like a baby. Overall, this is a book I highly suggest to anyone who had an interest in true crime! This case is notorious and being able to see small details into the case is just so incredible to me! ⠀
