It was great to read some more about Mare and Shepley but this one didn't hold my attention like the others did. It felt a bit rushed and jumped forward in time too much. It read it really quickly, and yes I know it's only a novella so it's not as big as the actual main books in this series, but it just wasn't as gripping as they were. I recommend reading it if you're a fan of the beautiful series, both BD and the Maddox Brothers books, but don't expect anything overly amazing. Not terrible, but not great either.
