Rapunzel's Revenge
by Shannon Hale, Dean Hale, Nathan Hale
Rapunzel's Revenge was a nostalgic romp. This western reimagining of the classic fairytale was familiar in the best possible way. Those fond of Disney's Tangled will likely love the spunky self-motivated iteration of Rapunzel. She's spirited with a strong sense for justice and a drive to help others that gets her entangled in hairy situations. The romance in this story was delightful and the playful banter between Rapunzel and Jack throughout was fun to read
Ultimately Rapunzel's Revenge was sold take on the Rapunzel story. Its characterization and romance were great and revisiting it years later I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
