Holy moly I did it and my god do I have thoughts on this book. First of the bat a question everyone who gave this book 5 stars did we even read the same Fucking book?! I think like Anastasia the people who gave this 5 stars need therapy. If I could take off my ears and not listen to this I so would. But I like torturing myself so I pushed through it's awsome to make schoolwork while listening to this, because the book is already more boring than my schoolwork. From some cute moments here and there the rest is straight up bad writing and disgusting. Anastasia is the most childish person sometimes like oh god communicate please. There's more sex than there is plot and both are still written terribly. The thing is this book also talks about eating disorders and thats something we all should collectivly do more having seen multiple people including myself struggle with this but I would've loved if it gave a more realistic side of it and spend more time on it. The only people I like in this book in order are: The dog, Henry, Stacie's mom and dad, the other hockey guys and Lola. Also what the fuck is the most stupid nickname she could give him Bub like what the fuck it's disgusting it sounds like talking to a baby.
The best scene in this book was the part where Nate finally got to slap Aaron across the face. Love that she did atleast won the Olympics but tell me why they had to put a baby at the end like I'm suffering and them also reffering to her as winnie the pooh like lord don't discriminate that bear. Also why did the book end with a proposal like yes I get it but please atleast also give us the marriage scene then.
I'm glad this is over and yes I liked the suffering it made me focus on my schoolwork and cleaning my room that I most definitely had to finish. Even though I will despise this book I can't help but admit that that I did giggle here and there to some lines or scene's. And I might have cried but don't worry that was at the part where her parents where supporting her through thick and thin and everything she went through and even her dad supporting Nate through his games while his own father didn't I think that was the most beautiful in this book. And with that said my rant is over.
