Henry is just a young kid who finds himself on the other side of the country when his dad takes a new job for Barkburn Power, a massive company seeking to “blaze a bright path for the future”. While Dad is working, Henry gets to hang out at the company’s summer camp, but when strange noises and spooky things start happening, Henry is eager to find the answers, no matter the cost. With a town full of secrets, somebody has to know what’s really going on.

This book was a fast-paced adventure where the kids are the heroes (as they should be!) I adored the characters and felt a strong connection with Henry because of his love and dedication to keeping nature safe. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and felt it was executed very well, especially the cliff-hanger chapter endings that had me rushing to start the next page. This was such a fun read and I absolutely love Bigfoot legends so to see someone paint them in a positive light was very heartwarming.
