White people were worse to American Indians than we were taught in school. It was insane to learn that American Indians became wealthy after finding oil on the land that white people sent them to, but then being assigned a white person to manage their money because they are deemed not competent enough or less than human.  And then when they start being murdered, police officials don't do anything about it.
