This was a really fun book. Sure, it's more of a how-to (or a how-not-to-do) on writing YA novels, than an actual story. But I think it has some solid advice for those who want to write in the genre.

The call-outs on the tropes and problematic stuff in YA was especially great.

It's not really a book I would see myself going back to, but I definitely had a blast reading it.
