Somehow the story dragged and the characters weren't real enough. Oh! I know this is fiction, but I like to be able to imagine that a character reacts in a certain way. A little more of emotion would have added a nice touch. Helena doesn't really make me feel for her and neither does Oscar.
The connection between them should have been stronger if they knew each other since they were young.
It is a decent read if you want to finish a book soon without thinking too much about it.
