This book was a favourite of mine from the full series.

Don’t get me wrong, I have loved reading about all of them and getting an inside for how they grew up and families, but this one hit a little different.

I knew that there was a lot going on with Alex from all the previous stories but I was not expecting that. We get to meet Everleigh. Everleigh lost everythig and everyone but wanted to forfill a journey that she and her parents never got too. When things took a turn and it saw her holding on to survive.

The torment and angst that both Everleigh and Alek go through I have no words. Alex having to watch his big brother die and then the love of his life. The torment had me crying.

I was glad for the wrap and how everything falls into place for them both. Congratulations to Michelle Heard for 15 books in this universe. It has been amazing reading all these books.
