3.5 ⭐ as soon as I finished Bride of the Shadow King I immediately wanted to go into the second of the trilogy. I really loved the pacing and back and forth POVs that we got (although I do kinda wish we got the POV of Hael also because girl was going through it). The only thing that brought it down for me was that Faraine didn't even try to explain that she was forced into the deception by her father. Like girl...JUST SAY SOMETHING. Although this wasn't full miscommunication, it still irked me. 

I'm excited to hop right into the next one though now that we have more information about what's happening in the world and that somehow Vor's mother is involved.
