Dan's had something against Andy for years since he flirted with his girlfriend. Andy has spent all these years wishing he flirted with Dan instead of his girlfriend. 

After some bad luck, Dan finds himself jobless, out of his relationship and living with his brother and and his boyfriend. In comes Andy to offer him a job and a room to rent. 

These two had some serious tension and a good bit of a push and pull going on. I didn't really feel a connection to any of the characters but it was a quick read so can't complain too much.
