I read this comic with the lens that it was made in the 60s. At this time, Black artists and drawing black people were not popular. I was shocked to see that Black Panther was a grey throughout the issue and so was Wakandans. The storyline was a bit hard for me to follow because it was filled with heavy western cowboy-ish language. This language seemed to be something that Stan Lee preferred to write. Which has more to do with his upbringing and what he was accustomed to seeing and hearing.

Also, the Fantastic Four members used stereotypical and sometimes derogatory words in describing the Black Panther, Wakanda, and the content of Africa. You can tell this comic was a comic of its time. On the other hand, I am still excited to read more because this is the first time that Black Panther appeared in the MCU.
