Wonderful start to the Puckboys series.

I have very much been looking forward to Ezra’s story ever since meeting him in the CU Hockey series and I was not disappointed.

Ezra is still beyond egotistical, super laid back, hilarious and enjoying his single lifestyle. Anton is bossy, uptight and image conscious. They have an initial hookup and when Anton gets traded to Ezra’s team their relationship changes and begins to slowly erode their initial incorrect opinions of each other and reveals the layers beneath each other’s masks. The family background of each character also explains some of their motivations as to why they choose to live as they do.
The ongoing growth and development of each of these characters and their relationship throughout the book is superbly written and I couldn’t help my huge smile when they got their HEA.

This is a well crafted, enjoyable and engaging read with sizzling chemistry, lots of very heated steamy times, minimal angst and a wonderful cast of main and secondary characters. The dialogue and banter between Ezra and Anton had me laughing out loud - they really enjoy taking digs at each other - and their competitiveness and ‘oneupmanship’ was so much fun.
