I liked it. The time jumps in the story were clearly delineated. There is a rape in the story, but as someone who generally avoids reading rape stories, it didn't make me put down the book. Some things were pretty obvious and I did find myself yelling at Hester to just realize what was going on already. Overall though, a good story.
