You are Jaguar
by Ryan W. Bradley
I don't read enough poetry, and this book reminded me of that. It kind of smacked me upside the head to remind me, actually. I enjoyed the dual interpretation, the connectivity that allows for individuality, the freedom of range in creative expression here. For those of us who write, who revise and revise and revise and revise and revise and are never happy, this book is reminder of the roots of creative expression. We do this because we have a voice and others want to hear it. This is easy to forget, and though I'm probably reading way too into the premise behind it, I also just really loved the work.
