This is my second book from Jasmine and I am in LOVE with her writing style.

After a botched, not-communicated proposal, Nik finds herself alone at a Dodger's game she didn't want to go to in the first place. After the jumbotron disaster of a proposal, Nik finds herself alone, but a few rows back, Carlos and his sister Angie noticed new crews starting to walk towards Nik! Carlos and Angie quickly pretend to know Nik and save her from future new crews.

After this chance meeting, Nik and Carlos begin to form a very friendly relationship. I enjoyed watching their relationship grow.

The reason I am not giving this a full on five stars is because I felt the end was very abrupt and I wanted more backstory for both Carlos and Nik's thinking processes at the end of the book. However, the B-plots for both Nik and Carlos were highly engaging (I'm hoping to see some of their friends again in future Jasmine books) and I enjoyed the family aspect of Carlos's story.

Still a fantastic read, loved ALL of the characters EXCEPT one (I'm sure you can guess who) and can't wait to read more by Jasmine!
