This book is so weird. I don’t think I’ll suggest it to anyone because it’s so odd, but I still enjoyed it. The first half was better than the second half-where it started to drag. It’s another unlikable, pretentious protagonist, but some of her thoughts just hit so close to home. It was intriguing, depressing, peculiar, and memorable. Also how I learned about the awful things Norman Mailer did, and then that randomly came up at dinner with my parents that night (thank you the Mary Tyler Moore Show), so that was cool!
