The Green Lantern, Vol. 1: Intergalactic Lawman
by Grant Morrison, Liam Sharp
This was a wild ride. The writing in this run is a bit confusing because as you're reading it feels like you're missing information and you're not really given the entire context of what's going on. There's also just a lot shoved at you at once (i.e. an organization of aliens trying to destroy the world, a market for buying/selling planets, consistently traveling to different planets, heroes committing treason, etc.). It's a lot to keep up with and doesn't really come together until the end of the volume, and even then not everything is super clear. I will probably keep reading the run despite this because I'd like to give it a real chance to see if the writing style is for me or not. So far, this volume gave me a bit of a headache, I just need to decide if it's a good headache or a bad one. Let's just say we're still getting to know each other.
