I found this book in the romance section, but was immediately certain that it was not in fact, a romance novel. My suspicion was correct - this is pure mystery and fantasy. This is a great and pretty tightly crafted character driven story. I really cared about both Satrine and Minox and appreciated how flawed and damaged the characters were while still remaining likable.
