The Serpent of Venice
by Christopher Moore
Pocket from Fool is back, and this time he is the half-mastermind, half-victim of Moore's mashup of The Merchant of Venice and Othello. This novel combines the comedy of Venice with the typical madcap and sexual humor of Moore into a funny, light hearted read. There were some laugh out loud moments, and I enjoyed the way Moore chose to keep historical fact in line with his story, and I loved the introduction of the dragon in the river.
