Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline
5.0

So what can someone add to a great stand alone book?

I loved Ready Player One, the references, the writing style, the story. It was great. So when a number two was announced I had mixed feelings of excitement and fear. I've seen stories get milked before.

The book is awesome. It starts slow to get you into the zone. We see how Wade picked up his life after the contest and how he is managing. The news isn't all rosy and that makes it so realistic.

Soon we find a new goal for our main characters, but where everything starts light hearted and without much pressure, things quickly change.

The end feels a bit rushed but good. I would have loved to know what the new low five was doing at times, as you only get glimpses of them. But that might have broken the story rhytm.

All in all, would greatly recommend.
