This was a really good book. Like a really really good plot, the characters are likeable and the pacing is really great. I was eager to know more about demons and cursewriting. I wouldn't mind an other book in the same setting I think this could have a pretty good potential. This was my first book from Krystal Sutherland and I heard good things about The House Of Hollows as well so I'm definitely reading it.
Overall highly recommend if you're looking for a spooky+little gory read about witch hunters, witches and demons with lesbian rep.
What didn't work out for me was the references to pop culture (e.g a Pride and Prejudice quote) and companies (was this book sponsored by a bunch of companies?? Why do I need to know the knife is from ikea???). I dislike urban fantasy, it's not for me but I'm still glad I didn't know beforehand because I know I wouldn't have read it at all and it turned out great.
