bookbeforeuleap 's review for:
Piranesi
by Susanna Clarke
I read the opening chapter of this a few months ago on netgalley and was so intrigued that I knew I needed a copy.
Let me start with the fact that I really enjoyed this book, the first few pages took a little bit of concentration but once you are in the flow its a brilliant read. I feel like this book created a solid theory for the existence of other worlds and used it to tell a story. I really enjoyed the character development and the slow reveal handed out through breadcrumbs but I feel like I cannot say much more for fear of spoiling the experience for anyone else.
I would recommend for anyone who a magical/other worldly element and I will definitely be reading more from this author.
Thank you bloomsbury for my gifted copy in exchange for review.
