I finally got around to reading this (listening to audiobook, actually). This is a lovely, kind, emotional novel of family trauma and loss told through the eyes of the family's yellow lab, Enzo. As a lab dad myself, I really enjoyed the perspective and wisdom of Enzo, and how that narrative perspective told a different kind of story than is usually heard. There are a few clunky spots, but overall a memorable and powerful read.
