How to Be an Antiracist
by Ibram X. Kendi
Woah. This was such a thought-provoking read. Some of his ideas are familiar, especially if you’ve read Stamped from the Beginning, but others felt brand new, or even controversial to current understandings of racism and antiracism. Some of these newer ideas were paradigm shifting, some I’m not even sure how I feel about, but they all made think deeply and open my mind. I also loved how this was part handbook, part memoir, which made the content even more readable. The audio was narrated by the author and his passion for the subject really came through. Enlightening, engaging, and unputdownable. High recommended.
