This a an enjoyable small town Christmas romance with two very likeable main characters set in the picture postcard town of Lighthouse Bay.
Jeff and Mike had a less then impressive meeting a year prior on the other side of the country. When they reconnect to organise a charity hockey tournament they are far from friendly to each other. The slow burn romance between them commences amongst the flurry of Christmas activities taking place in Lighthouse Bay. Characters from the previous book are involved in the storyline but this can easily be read as a standalone.
This is an easy to read, feel good slow burn romance with no angst, low heat and with just a touch of magic to help Jeff and Mike get their HEA.
I found this book to be a lovely way to escape for an afternoon.
