alisarae 's review for:
The Casual Vacancy
by J.K. Rowling
Rowling's distinctive voice and masterful storytelling is immediately evident--it was nice to be told from an old friend about such horrors that the characters undergo. All of the characters are lonely, pitiful, pitiable, or despicable creatures, and only because of my trust in Rowling did I keep reading. To be fair, it wraps up well.
