It's the first book i read in this series but it won't surely be the last as i loved it.
It's gripping, emotionally charged and entertaining at the same time.
I loved the characters, Roy Grace above all, and I think they are well thought and fleshed out.
There's a mystery but there's also something going on in Roy Grace's life. There are some heartbreaking moments and I liked how the author dealt with them.
Even if it's not the first in a series I had no issue with the plot or the characters.
The author is an excellent storyteller and this story kept me turning pages.
Highly recommended.
