The good versus evil story arc continues in this second instalment where Baer finds his soulmate in Wiley. Both these characters are wonderful, a bit flawed and made for each other. Baer is still too impulsive and Wiley is a nerdy artist with endless enthusiasm and OCD. Their chemistry together is undeniable and once they give into it things really heat up.
Then bad guys have a more formidable leader this time round and another Weaver is introduced to the Circle. So lots of magic, mayhem and action happen and some secrets are kept which set up the next book.
I loved every minute of this book and couldn’t put it down, highly recommended.
