I don’t know how I feel about this book. I really enjoyed Owen and Alex as people and a couple but felt that they didn’t really have great character growth.

The ex wife and that whole thing felt like it was just thrown in there to create the 3rd act drama but to me it didn’t seem believable at all and was a complete ick for me. There is no way that Alex would have been with her for that long and happily might I add, if she was as vile as she was post divorce. There’s just no way someone can turn that evil at the flip of a switch and then magically concede and give Alex everything he originally wanted in the divorce regarding custody, it just doesn’t make any logically sense.
