This is an example of Jeff Lemire doing what he does best - blending sci-fi, fantasy, time travel, dimension travel, and myth in an intriguing world populated by characters that have depth (he makes me think of the comic version of someone like Blake Crouch). I know his stories and especially his art style are often divisive, but I'm a huge fan of his work. He doesn't always nail the endings, but overall this is a great standalone original graphic novel.
