This book was a beautiful/sensual ride in a very Gothic setting.

Corvina (love that her name means Raven) heads to Verenmore -a mysterious University at a castle in the mountains. She is very distinct with her purple eyes. She catches the eye of "the devil" of Verenmore, Vad, who is a student completing his thesis/teacher. 

Every 5 years here, a student disappears at what is called The Black Ball. Corvina wants to unravel the mystery is the place as she is unraveled by Vad.

This is very dark academia and should only be read by 18+. The spice is unreal and constant. I was a little surprised by parts of the ending and it left my jaw hanging down.
