Amazing!
A big step up from Hooked in the spicy department and I love it!!
Tristan is an absolutely sex pot! From the tattoos to the *cough cough* herbal remedies, he is great all round. He has a soft side too which is shown on his relationship to a young boy called Simon. It was a nice balance from the dark sexual content and violence that he dishes out throughout the book.
I love love the female MC Sara who gives as good as she gets. She’s mentally and physically strong and compliments Tristan’s character really well.
Although as good if not better than Hooked, i didnt like the addition of making it apparent that there was a little racial hostility in this novel. While not a massive issue, i was a little peeved that considering this is a Lion King retelling, the inclusion of brown people was still quite derogatory which it could have done without. While the ending sooorda makes up for this, i still didnt think it was necessary.
Cant wait for more in this series though, author is great for making you question what spice you really do like!
