An Offer from a Gentleman
by Julia Quinn
*5 Stars*
I really enjoyed this 3rd instalment of the Bridgerton books. At first I wasn't too sure how much I was going to like it, because the beginning is very Cinderella-like - but once it gets past that part, I found myself really hooked and enjoying this.
I really quite liked Sophie, and how she had her own set of morals and she wouldn't back down once she made up her mind. I loved how she fit in with the Bridgertons and how the family treated her (and all of their servants etc). Benedict was a good character in his own as well, and whilst they both had their struggles, everything comes together really nice, and I got quite a kick out of how things played out at the end.
The Bridgerton family makes me want to be a part of them. I am really enjoying reading through the books in this world and I cannot WAIT to read about Colin and Penelope next!
