 I binged this on audio! The collection of horror stories had range from comedy horror to psychological and eerie. Our black heroines all survived, and it was exciting and satisfying. Especially in the stories where they were the ones to be feared!!

Soooo much YES for this one. I'd love to see some of the stories adapted for screen. The forward really resonated with me because they discussed the lack of representation of black women in horror and specifically cited Rachel True MY favorite CRAFT girlie.

I would love to see more spotlights on black women in horror where we aren't a side character for comedic relief, an early death, or simply forgotten.
