Safe Haven
by Nicholas Sparks
I enjoyed this book veeeery much.
It reads fluently, I constantly wanted to read more.
It was also very refreshing/confronting to read from the abuser’s perspective. He has this twisted logic that for him, makes up for all the stuff he does.
The last few chapters were very thrilling. The way it’s written contributes to that; you get short passages in the abuser’s view and short passages in Katie’s view. That was really well written.
The only negative thing, was sometimes there were sentenced that didn’t seem to make sense? The sentences were also very short.
