Well I knew it would eventually happen. After 3 enjoyable volumes of Batman/Superman we'd get to one pretty bad volume. I know a lot of people aren't inlove with this series, which is fine. I however enjoyed most of it. Especially the Batman/Superman moments. This volume though? Talk about a super strong start and a REALLY bad ending.

So the first half is all about Superman hunting a enemy that is truly fucking up his life. Batman labels this person as the JOKER for Superman. Sounds scary huh? IT IS. It's perfect. Then it dwindles down by the end. The second arc is pretty awful and honestly I barely remember anything from it.

What I liked: The first two issues are great. Pacing, tension, art, all top notch. Then it takes a sudden nose dive.

What I didn't like: The whole second half is a bore and honestly extremely skippable. Also the "reveal" of superman's joker was SUPER underwheleming. Also Lobo looks like a fucking moron but not that down because the 90's version looks stupid too.

This was a huge downer in this series. Hoping last two volumes least decent!
