Trading Places
by Emily Duvall
Lex & Evan have a very unfortunate meet cute and after a heated debate is live streamed on social media, agree to trade lives for 2 months to see who can win a bet.
Lex is an heiress and has no understanding of what it means go without. Evan is a mechanic who is guardian of his niece, whose annual salary is less than what Lex gets in a month from her trust fund.
I absolutely adored both Lex and Evan - however, while I hate the change that we saw in Evan, I loved the growth that we saw with Lex. Both characters had beautiful character development that felt so right for the story. I felt like the third act breakup could have been done differently - only because I HATE when miscommunication causes the third act breakup.
Overall, very cute story and a very quick read.
Thank you to Entangled Publishing & Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.
