What a wonderfully bizarre book! I had no idea what the book was about and just decided to go into it without knowing. I found the writing style incredibly easy to read and I fell into Lillian's world so easily! I could so vividly see all the characters and the locations in my mind, which is just testament to how great the writing stye is! Completely fell in love with the story and the two children Bessie and Roland! The only reason I've given it 4 stars is because I have conflicting thoughts on the ending but wow, this book completely blindsided me and I loved it! Great book club pick and I can't wait to discuss it with the wider group
