The Hardest Hit
by A.S. Teague
The Hardest Hit is full of missed connections when it comes to Mel and Aiden. They met in Vegas, of course, their “relationship” didn’t stay in Vegas. Aiden couldn’t get enough. He was smitten with Mel from the very beginning, but Mel had other thoughts.
I loved these two and wanted to know more about their relationship, especially after first being introduced to them in Griff and Brooke’s story. I completely devoured this book. I was hooked. Mel and Aiden’s story was one failed attempt after another, yet I loved the bond they formed. I loved the fact that that constantly told each other secrets to know more about each other.
This story was so much more than I expected. It took a tragedy to finally make the timing right. Mel stepped up big time this time around and I loved that. I loved that she didn’t take no for answer and she fought for what she knew was right from the very beginning. Aiden is so much more than a star quarterback. He and Mel had opposite lives growing up, yet they both felt ignored in a sense.
I loved every single thing about their story. It was sweet, charming, their chemistry was perfect and their road was a struggle, but they kept fighting for each other. A.S. Teague has a way of bringing out every single emotion in me when I read but I can’t get enough.
The Hardest Hit is a MUST READ.
