I really enjoyed this read. I loved how this book was a harder hitting contempory. I also really enjoyed how it handled with harder topics like police behavior, prejudice, murder and fun cast of side characters. I also really loved the mystery at the heart of it. I also really enjoyed the read as mystery and found that element to be super fast pace. I also liked all the romantic possibilities that were set up and the family and the restaurant was the kicker. I can't wait for book 2!!
