The Way I Hate Him
by Meghan Quinn
I thought this was a bit of a letdown, and wasn't what I thought it was going to be. Don't get me wrong, it was good... but it wasn't great. I think the book is ENTIRELY too long, and should certainly not be 500 pages in length. So much could have been cut out, as it wasn't necessary. However, I did enjoy reading it. Although I found both Hattie and Hayes to be immature at times, the banter, tension, and coming together of these two made it worth it. I do have to say though, that if a guy said to me what Hayes said to Hattie, it would take a LOT MORE groveling in order for me to even consider taking him back. I also felt like it was too back and forth for much too long. It's hilarious and steamy, but it was just missing something... I can't quite put my finger on it. But if in 500+ pages, there still feels like something is missing, then it leaves a lot to be desired. I am looking forward to Maggie's book though! I sincerely hope Ryland and Aubree also get their own books because I would love to see these two get happily ever afters.
