Crooks & Kings

I LOVED this one. It was well-written, and I was pulled in from page one. It was nicely paced, and I never felt the need to skim. We bounce back and forth in time a bit, and that gives us just the right amount of insight into both Christophe and Mariya's past without it having the effect of disrupting the flow of the present story. It had a good amount of action. It had some good sex scenes. It had two likable and well developed main characters. It had interesting side characters. I am especially excited to read more about Christophe's brothers. They sound like an interesting bunch of guys. As does Nix from the DEN OF MERCENERIES series, which I'll be adding to my TO READ list tout suite!
It basically checked all my boxes and then some. Two HUGE thumbs up from yours truly.
