Ok, it is a bit preachy and not as original or well made than Ender’s Game or Speaker for the Dead. But, I still enjoyed it.

The characters are well defined and interesting, the story starts a bit slowly but the pace improves a lot after the first 100 pages. I actually liked the structure of the book, with the chapters alternating between Lusitania and Path.

I’m now looking forward to read Children of the Mind to get the actual conclusion of this cycle.
