R.S. GREY DOES IT AGAIN! There is absolutely a reason why Rachel is one of my favorite authors…she delivers every single time. Hotshot Doc is no exception!

It goes without saying that I adored this book. It’s an enemies-to-lovers office romance told in dual POVs that gives you something along the lines of Grey’s Anatomy meets Scrubs — a hospital setting, swoon-worthy characters, sexiness, a smidge of drama, and loads of laughs!

Two of my favorite things about R.S. Grey books are the banter and internal dialogue. They’re always laced with humor and wit and cause me to roll, laughing out loud! Hotshot Doc has both great banter and phenomenal internal dialogue. I especially loved reading Bailey’s thoughts; she had me cackling!

Bailey is a female heroine for the ages! She is the type of character I wish I could be friends with — smart, selfless, and strong. I also really enjoyed her relationship with her sister, for whom she is a legal guardian. Matt is something special, too. He is broody but has a heart of gold! I loved seeing their contrasting personalities battle. I also loved seeing them slowly mesh. Matt and Bailey are a-freakin-dorable! SO. MANY. FEELS.

Overall (obviously!), I highly recommend Hotshot Doc. Rachel is the queen of rom coms, so if you’re looking for laughs and love, you can’t go wrong with any of her books. This one, though, is a must read!
