Oh sigh. Another predictable mediocre thriller where all of the characters are unnecessarily horrible and all of the plots are easy to predict and nothing of substance actually happens or is talked about. This book is cookie cutter for what most popular thrillers look like these days. There is no meat to it, the characters and story line all skin and bones. At this point I don't even know why I keep trying with these kinds of books. Every so often I come across one that's golden but the vast majority are "what if Gone Girl but bad."
