Bully romances are my thing at the moment, and while the first one was pretty spot on, I feel this one lost its way a little.
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Mason. He’s such an interesting character, with so much more than meets the eye.
Camila I’m pretty ambivalent about. I don’t feel as if we really got to know her besides being the victim of bullying.
Where this boon falls down for me is the constant info dumps and recapping of events from the alternate POV. I also found it was paced a little slowly and I wished I could’ve seen more on Camila’s side.
Still, it’s not a horrible book, in fact, it’s pretty decent. If they’re your thing, give it a go.
