After book one, there was so much potential for this to be good, for the characters to develop into interesting, complex characters and that just didn't happen. None of the deaths in this book held any weight. None of them had any impact. There are some I'm not sure why they even had they're own chapters as they added absolutely nothing to the book and would not have impacted the story at all to remove. Almost 500 pages of whiny brats being whiny brats and nothing else
