Excellent book! A must read for all! This book details the life of a POW in world war II. The author includes tons of information on injustices done to POWs and even to the soldiers due to faulty equipment etc. though its nonfiction and includes tons of information and statistics, it doesnt feel like a textbook or dry biography at all. I loved the redemption of the ending... The main character, struggling with alcoholism and most likely PTSD, is drug to a Billy Graham crusade that changes his life! Amazing book that will give you an awesome glimpse into history.
